From within Americus

All the highways leading into Americus will take you to downtown like the spokes of a wheel. Once you arrive downtown, we are less than 1 mile from you.

Downtown Americus has two one-way boulevards: Forsyth and Lamar. They run east/west. There is also a north/south main thoroughfare: Lee Street.  You will probably be on one of them.

If you are on 'Forsyth' Street: drive toward downtown and watch for Lee Street (also Hwy 377) just as you are entering the edge of downtown. Turn left. (If you reach 'Jackson' street, you've driven 1 block too far. Turn left on Jackson and then left on Lamar and follow directions below.)

If you are on Lamar Street: turn right on Lee Street. It will be the 1st traffic light after the Windsor Hotel in the center of downtown. (If you reach 'Prince' street, you've driven 1 block too far. Turn right on Prince, then left on Church, right on Brown, then left on Taylor and follow directions below.)

Once on Lee Street, turn left onto Taylor Street. You will see a left turn lane for Taylor after 1 or 2 blocks. (It's the first left after the churches.)  If you entered town already on Lee, watch for Taylor on your right as you drive toward downtown.

Taylor is only about 5 blocks long. Drive slowly. It's beautiful. The inn is at the far end of Taylor directly across from the stop sign. Turn right to get to the drive (which you can see from the stop sign).
