A brief introduction to the Owners/Innkeepers and your hosts:

Mr. and Mrs. Kim and Susan Egelseer

Our motto: "A stranger is simply a friend we have not yet met".

It is hard to believe that we have been innkeepers since 2002. Time has really flown. The top photo was taken in 2010, the lower photos in 2003. We have learned so much about people, including ourselves, in our time here in Americus. Our guests ask often about our journey that led us to becoming innkeepers and how we chose Americus. We'll be happy to share that story over breakfast when you visit.

Kim was a manager in the Solid Waste Industry for almost 20 years. His background includes experience as an Eagle Scout, a swim coach, a Mustang enthusiast, a Rotarian and he is an alumnus from Leadership Collier County and Leadership Tampa. Kim holds a Business Degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Wisconsin. Kim is now truly a "jack of all trades" and can be found working on any number of projects around the house and grounds.

Susan was a fitness professional teaching classes in aerobics, step, body sculpting and stretching along with coordinating fitness programming. She is also a Certified Weight Management Consultant. Her background includes experience as a mental health counselor, a social worker, a preschool teacher, office manager, and she has received training in restaurant management. Susan loves to experiment with new recipes to create healthful meals that delight your taste buds and your appetite. She holds a Psychology Degree with an emphasis in Psychobiology from Southampton College of Long Island University.
